We welcome publishing proposals in language and literacy
education (see descriptions of book
series for more information about the kinds
of books we publish). All works offered to us are carefully
reviewed for their quality, suitability, and originality.
Before you send us a full manuscript, please first send
us a proposal. We will then contact the appropriate
series editors or editorial advisors. The following
questionnaire is intended to help us to assess your
proposal in terms of intended readership, the market,
and suitability in our publishing program.
In order to insure the quality of our publications,
proposed manuscripts are subject to peer review. A decision
on publication will be based on referee reports, series
editors’ assessments, and market expectations.
When a proposal is under review we ask you for the first
option on the publication. All information supplied
will be confidential and is only intended for our use.

a course, and do you know of other places where the
book may be used?

and the previous edition.
